Sad News

This morning my mother called to let me know that they had to put one of the cats to sleep. Socksy had been my cat since childhood, and I wish that I could have taken her with me when I moved out.

She was a great cat, the perfect pet for a little girl. She was the kind of cat who let you pick her up, carry her around, dress her up in doll clothes, whatever. She just purred and was happy about it. She’ll be missed.
