Dad's Mismatched Socks

If someone tells you that you can get one pair of men’s socks from just one skein of sock yarn, they are a filthy liar.

Dad's Stripey Sock

The first sock of the pair turned out great.

The second….not so much. See that? That’s what happens when you run out of yarn and can’t find a matching gray.

I’m telling myself it won’t matter since they’ll be hidden by his shoes. And I’m not even sure he’ll notice.

    Aw, that sucks! Who are these filthy liars? I need to put them on my hit list.

    But you’re right, he won’t notice and/or care. Because I know your dad is like my dad, make sure to send a note saying that these socks SHOULD NOT be worn with sandals.

    That definitely sucks.

    While my father certainly wouldn’t notice…if you’re worried, you could always rip back the toe of the all-striped first sock and do it in the plain light grey, so at least that way they match…::ducks and waits for things to be thrown at his head::

    I second the comment about making sure that your dad doesn’t wear them with socks. My dad would and it would just be painful to see. Fathers. *shakes head*
